One Pot Pasta

Lazy healthy italian recipe

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti
  • 150g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Onion (cut)
  • 1 Chili (optional)
  • Fresh Basil
  • Olive Oil (Extra Virgin)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • Pecorino cheese

Steps

  1. Chop the onions into strips.
  2. Thinly chop the garlic and the chili.
  3. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half.
  4. Place the pasta in the middle of the cooking pot.
  5. Assemble the remaining ingredients around the pasta.
  6. Shred the basil and place it on top of the ingredients in the pot.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Put water (or chicken stock) until the contents are covered.
  10. Place pot over high heat and cook for approximately 10 minutes, continuously stirring.
  11. Grate the cheese and sprinkle on top
  12. Add some fresh basil on top
